(More customer reviews)To no fault of the hitch, the undercarriage bolt connections are pretty difficult to get to. The real problem was the bolt's threading was so badly damaged (perhaps though the terrible packaging job) that it was near impossible to torque them through the hex nuts. I was having such a hard time tightening them together that I got out from under the car and tried to just thread the bolts through the nuts by themselves; to see if I could. It was exceptionally difficult. I think that had I been given a set of bolts that was not damaged, that this install would have been no problem.

(More customer reviews)The Larin Cargo Carrier is just what I needed for my small car, a lighweight platform to carry barrels and other items I don't want or can't fit in the car.
The carrier came with both 2inch and 1-1/4inch load bars, which is much better than using an adapter. The only small catch was that instructions were not entirely clear about how the 2 halves fit together, but once attached the rest of the assembly went perfectly.

Masterbuilt HFTB HITCH-HAUL Folding Receiver Bar Review

(More customer reviews)I use this folding receiver bar on my motorhome to carry a cargo basket. Unfortunately it is about 3 inches too short to allow my cargo basket to fold up 90 degrees without touching the RV bumper. My RV hitch is slightly recessed under the RV's bumper so when I attempt to fold the cargo basket it touches the bumper at about a 70 degree angle. This folding receiver bar needs to be about 3" to 4" longer. Multiple (2 or more) lock pin holes would also be useful at the end of the bar used to secure the bar to the hitch to adjust the length of the bar protruding out from the hitch for various attachments, such as a cargo basket. Otherwise this is a durable and well built product.

Bully CR-112 Hitch Mounted Cargo Rack Review

(More customer reviews)This rack fit perfectly on my '95 Wrangler's hitch. I like having the option of carrying camping gear when the safari top is on and don't want to hassle with a overhead rack. Fits my two five gallon military jerry cans on each end and has plenty of room left for a giant Coleman cooler and other gear. Takes two to put it together easily, but it was less than $100.
My suggestion: a stabilizing set screw that helps keep it from rocking (ever so slightly) from left to right. It is not very noticeable, but knowing that it does move weighs on my mind when off-roading.

Rola 59400 Two Bike Hitch Mount Carrier Review

the quality control was lacking. There is a folding arm with a
locking pin to lock the arm in the up position but the pin would
not go in until I relocated the centering bushings. Unfortunatly
this was easier than sending the product back. Once this was center-
ed correctly, the pin worked as it should.

It is amazing how often I use my Cargo Carrier to move around items that I normally wouldn't want in my vehicle, such as; sandy beach furniture, bags of concrete, grills and potentially leaking coolers. The best part about this particular model is the entire cargo carrier folds up and locks into place so that I can still have my cargo carrier with me at all times even if I'm not using it (extends about 6 inches). It makes it extremely useful to be able to leave it on the back of the vehicle when not in use and not having to take it on and off (as many times, you are away from home before you realize you need it). It turns any vehicle with a tow hitch into a 60" x 20" bed pickup truck.

60x20 FOLDING CARGO CARRIER BASKET T-NSB-F6020 Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased thinking you could easily fold up and down without disassembling and reconfiguring the unit. I expected to be able to pull a pin, fold-up or down and replace the pin. In fact you must totally remove the carrier and reconfigure the shank to secure it in the upright position. Because of the weight this job is tougher than it should be. I'll most likely use the unit w/o the shank and lock it straight into the hitch w/o the folding feature. Too much hassle. I also noticed some chipping and marring on the paint in a few places. These exposed areas are oxidized and already orange in color. The unit also moves around after being secured to my hitch, not sure what this will be like going down the road. If it holds up well after our first trip I may upgrade the review to 3-stars if it performs well and because of the low price point but doubt it will get any higher marks than this.

The wired mesh side walls are strong and held 4 suitcases and 2 folding loungers inside its cargo area. It held everything securely and made no noise at all for over 1,200 miles. It gave us extra interior space inside our van and I did'nt have to struggle getting suitcases down from a roof carrier. The Carpod is well designed, strongly made and priced right.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. It stated that it would fit with no drilling just bolts. It did not fit just like the other comment stated. We didn't have to take it to machine shop but thankfully my father had some metal files and we were able to file the holes a little longer. It was one of the most stressful things to put on because of the weight and the fact that it did not fit at first. After about 2 hours of labor with 3 people helping we finally were able to put it on after some major filing. I gave it a 2 because it stated it would fit but most certainly did not. But after all the filing down we were able to make it fit and its working out now.

(More customer reviews)Works OK, just is not user friendly when trying to install it on various vehicles with different body plastic, i.e. Chrysler Town n Country: Due to hitch being resessed under van, not enough 2 inch receiver sticking out to proper secure it. Doge Power wagon 2500 Welding to thick at neck of receiver and only wat to install anti-rattle was to turn it upside down and tightn the screws. Works well in that position.

Masterbuilt 30110208 The Original HITCH-HAUL Cargo Carrier with 2" and 1.25" Receiver Bars Review

I have a grinder so I was able to take off a little metal and make it work, but most folks don't want that sort of hassle.
