When I went to install it, while having all required parts, the thread pitch for the bolts was incorrect. I purchased factory hitch mounting hardware. Good thing that I didn't need this right away! Overall, this is a great product-looking forward to having it installed.

Ford Hitch Cover Review

We appreciate the manufacturer including the one inch and two inch adapters so it will fit within different towing mount receivers. The Ford Hitch Cover looks stylish and rugged at the same time. It is made of a durable material, and it compliments our white 2008 Ford Explorer XLT.

It was a little larger than I expected (5'1/2 x 4), but it is a great size, and looks awesome on the back of my vehicle. The hitch cover seems to be sturdy and made well! Another bonus is that it comes with a small padlock ~ so it won't "disappear" one day! Very happy with my purchase!

Curt Manufacturing 13147 Class III Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)This is the 2nd Curt hitch I've owned, and I expect it to be just as durable as the 1st (installed on a 20014 Honda CR-V). I really like that the Class III hitch has a 2-inch box, compatible with most receivers and hitch accessories (unlike the 1-1/4" Class II hitch). Just remember that the Forrester is limited to 2,400 lbs with trailer breaks. Installation took me about 90 minutes including setup and cleanup (my garage is not well organized). An organized mechanic's shop could finish the job in under 1 hr.
Pros:
Attractive
Sturdy
No welding needed
Online installation video available.
Cons:
Installation involves removing 5 exhaust hangers, and cutting/grinding to enlarge the chasis mounting holes
Requires a coulpe of tools not found in every non-mechanic's garage (Dremmel and torque wrench).

Master Lock Keyed Alike Trailer Hitch Locks #1480KA-2 Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered two of these and they arrived quickly. They appear to be well made, but I had a lot of trouble getting them to lock because they are just long enough to fit through a 2" hitch and receiver, with no extra. I had to work hard to get the lock mechanism to push in far enough to lock. Took a lot of effort. If they were 1/4" to 1/2" longer this problem would be alleviated. I am thinking about sending them back, but want to work with them a little more and see if there is a "trick" to getting them just in the right position to lock easliy.

River's Edge Receiver Hitch Cover Chrome Propeller Review

(More customer reviews)I knew it was too good to be true, there's no "New ball bearing spinner"! This is the same cheap plastic quality as the last similar one that I previously ordered (3-blade) which recently broke. The 3-blade one cost about $8 more but I think the simpler design was worth it. The 3-blade one also had a tight-fitting pop-off spinner retainer that allows the blade to pop off in the rear direction when hit hard (but not fwd unfortunately). This 4-blade product has a plastic nut that will probably keep the prop on when bumped, forcing a blade to break when pushed too hard aftward. I don't so much mind that they're both plastic, seems like a good idea so that they just break the blade if bumped too hard, but I really wanted metal in the friction-joint, like ball bearings or bushings. This River's Edge 4-blade prop has false-advertising (at least at Amazon, the product package said nothing about bearings), no ball bearings at all.
