Bought for our 2003 Ford Escape. Fit perfect and went on fast. Pre-drilled holes in all the right spots made this very easy to install.

Valley 82270 Class III/IV Receiver Hitch Review

This is a really solid and well built receiver hitch that I would love to have on my truck. Only it doesn't fit, despite being indicated as such. If you have a 1974 full sized Ford, look somewhere else, otherwise this may be great for you. Five stars to Amazon and their no hassle returns.

CIPA 11960 Premium Universal Towing Mirror Review

CIPA 11960 Premium Universal Towing Mirror
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After a bit of research I purchaced a pair of these mirrors to use when towing my travel trailer. I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma. I received 2 mirrors from Amazon. To my suprise they had some minor differences between them. Apparently CIPA changed the design a little bit. I really like the newer design better, as it comes with metal clips that seem to work a lot better then the plastic ones. I also liked the "feet" (that hold it on the back of the mirror) on the newer model a lot better. They are much sturdier and seem to hold better. In any case, you have an option to also purchase convex (wide angle) mirror replacements and a storage bag from the manufacter. When I called to order the convex mirrors, I told them about my concerns. The company send me new clips and new "feet" (along with a bunch of extra sticky feet pads) to replace the ones on the older mirror model (at no charge). After upgrading the older model, and putting in the convex mirrors, they really are excellent towing mirrors. One minor gripe here...if the company had the option of ordering the mirrors with the convex mirror lenses to start with, I would have just done that rather then spend the extra $12.99 on a pair of them. For the record though the convex mirrors only took about 5 min to replace and it was very easy.
A few things to note, they do take a little time to adjust the first time you attach them to your car, but after that they take only a couple minutes to attach or remove. Also, if you leave them on for more then a day, you do need to check them and retighten them, adjust them, etc... I would also suggest trying out the normal mirrors that come with them prior to ordering the convex ones. The normal mirrors were adequite for my first couple of towing trips, but I really like the convex mirrors a lot better, they really show a lot more space and give you a bit more confidence when changing lanes.
When in use, there is very little vibration and you can see very well with them. I wouldn't want to tow anything without them. If they broke, I probably would buy them again. They are made of a pretty sturdy plastic and it seems like they will last for awhile. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because you had to order the convex mirrors seperate (after you already purchased the product) and because of the "upgrades" I had to do on the older model, but again, the customer service was excellent and they seem to stand behind their product if you have any issues.

Ford Hitch Cover Review

Ford Hitch Cover
Average Reviews:

The photo on this item listing looks like a polished chrome, but the item we received is a brushed chrome with black detailing. We like it. We appreciate the manufacturer including the one inch and two inch adapters so it will fit within different towing mount receivers. The Ford Hitch Cover looks stylish and rugged at the same time. It is made of a durable material, and it compliments our white 2008 Ford Explorer XLT.

This is a 100% plastic item. The description gives the "impression" it is metal. The description states "Chrome" and "Die Cast". I may or may not return the item. I believe that it will break VERY easily!

Bully CR-017F Oval Blue LED Hitch Brake Light Review

Bully CR-017F Oval Blue LED Hitch Brake Light
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After only a month of having this hitch brake light installed, I've gotten at least 10 comments on it from people. The Ford oval lights up with a pleasant Ford blue when the headlights are on and a bright, brilliant red when you step on the brakes! It looks great and is a great addition to your Ford truck! Some simple assembly is required before you can install it, but it's only 4 screws that secure the body to the light...a couple of minutes is all it takes and it's ready to go right into the receiver hitch.
I'd buy another one and would recommend it to my friends!
