(More customer reviews)I recently purchase a motorcycle, and wanted to have some added peace of mind. I purchased this set knowing I'd use the disk-lock on my day-to-day travels, and the lock and chain on extended parking times. It's a tad short to connect to a pole if you aren't very close, but I knew that before purchasing it. If anyone really wants your bike, they'll just pick up and take it with a few friends. This is to deter the snack and grab types. You'll need to secure it or carry it somehow (I am going to use my tank bag) to transport it from point A to B, but you will feel confident your bike is secure.
As far as the actual product, it has a covering over the links that appear to be zinc coated, or have some type of rust-proofing (I am assuming that's what it is). The key and lock action is VERY smooth, and the plastic shell over the lock does have a thin cheap feel to it, but guessing it should withstand normal use. 3 keys as promised and one of them has a light. I haven't tested it in the dark, but clearly its better than no light at all. The disk lock is bulkier than most I have seen and used in the past, but that's fine with me, I am hoping it would catch the eye of a would be thief and have them move on to your bike that doesn't have a lock like this!! I gave it 5 stars primarily based on price vs quality. This was the best bang for your buck. I would recommend this to a friend... and to you!
