(More customer reviews)Over time, I've found that the true value of a commercial lock can not be determined until after ten years or more of use. What good will a review do ten years from now? Who's going to read it? Futhermore, who's going to write it? So, after one year, both locks have survived the elements fine. The outside has not tarnished. Suggestion: Do not use WD-40 on the inside mechanism as it will retain moisture. Use a high-grade machine oil or gun oil. I'm currently testing the regular use of spray silicone on one lock. Jury is still out.
