(More customer reviews)I only gave the Draw-Tite 24747 3 stars because of the issues I had with Amazon. The hitch itself fits my 2009 Mustang GT very well and I would give it 5 stars.
The problem is that Amazon does not pack it in a box, they just stick a label on the side of it and ship it.
This leads to 3 problems that I personally experienced.
1) Missing parts! The first one that they shipped me was missing the drawbar. When I called and told Amazon of the problem they were unwilling to send me just a drawbar, but they would send me a new hitch and drawbar assembly if I shipped back the first hitch (at their cost).
2) More missing parts! The second hitch arrived promptly, but it was also missing the drawbar and all of the hardware. This time Amazon would still not ship me just a replacement drawbar, but they did give me a partial refund to cover the costs of buying a drawbar from another store.
3) It literally took me 2 hours to peel most of the shipping stickers of of the hitch (before I gave up). Also, the powdercoat was chipped off along some of the edges because of the shipping method.
Overall, this is a very good product. It just needs to be shipped in better packaging.
