(More customer reviews)I just finished doing the install on this hitch, and it is definitely NOT easy and DOES require drilling. A lot of drilling actually. I don't know if there is a hitch for the Sienna that doesn't, but this one's not it. If you want to know what you're getting into, search for an install video for the '98 Toyota Sienna trailer hitch (etrailer.com I think) and it's just like that. You have to drill into the frame to install bolts on either side and expand an access hole in the frame. They don't even offer any suggestions in the instructions on how to do that. I ended up drilling a number of small holes and widening them with successively larger drill bits until I got the whole thing big enough. I'm still nursing injuries from this one. Little bits of hot metal from the drilling burn and cut your skin pretty easily. Safetly goggles are a must! Recommend leather gloves, and a very good drill, and lots of good bits that go through steel well, and something to raise the van on would have made it easier too. If you do choose to do it, good luck!
