(More customer reviews)All-in-all, the product is very easy to install and requires only minimal electrical knowledge for the hot wire hookup. It took about an hour to install.
The most time consuming aspect of the installation is running the hot wire from the battery. I chose to run it under the body, next to the frame, which I assume is faster and easier than removing interior trim panels to feed it through the interior. Routing and securing the power wire under the car requires just a little thought to ensure the wire won't be stressed or exposed to points of wear.
This type of connector is my choice for all my future installations.
