(More customer reviews)Solid, well made front receiver hitch. BUT....it was made for a 4x4 Dodge Ram 1500. I mounted it on a 4x2 Dodge Ram 1500 and it hangs way too low to the ground. It hit parking stops and dragged on steep curbs. Be careful when driving on a 4x2 truck. I solved this problem by having the main cross bar cut, flipped upside down, and re-welded by a good, professional welder. I then re-mounted it and trimmed the lower front valance below the bumper. I now have the necessary clearance and it only cost me $40.
It's NOT Curt's fault. They advertise it for a 4x4 truck. I took a chance and tried it on a 4x2. It fit, and works great after my $40 alteration.
