(More customer reviews)This is a difficult product to install on a Ford Freestyle. You DO NOT have to remove the bumper if you dont want to. Although it makes for a more proffesional looking install. If you dont remove the bumber the wires are just much more visible. Also once installed I could not find a way to get the wires down through the metal portion of the bumper to I just close the tailgate right on the wires. This does not seem to damage the wires but it may eventually after many times. The directions kinda suck. This is not a job for someone with no experience. I reccomend you be at least a "handyman" to tackle this project. It will take at least 1 hour. GOOD LUCK. Again this is for installation on a Ford Freestyle.
