(More customer reviews)Hooked this up to my 2008 Vue XR it and did not work. I am an long time boater and RV owner experienced in wiring trailer lights. Took it to a local Tech who confirmed it was defective. Contacted Curt mfg. and they agreed to credit this item thru the dealer (my trailer hitch). I had the local hitch dealer install a new converter as I could not wait for a replacement because of time constraints. Better to purchase this item from a local source.

Curt Manufacturing 56018 T-Connector Review

(More customer reviews)I was very pleased with the promptness of delivery. When I looked at the instructions I noted they were a poor quality photo copy in black and white. I had recalled seeing full color dierctions online. When I logged on to the website and located the instructions by part number (very handy feature) I was surprised to note the the directions included asnd the directions on the website were different. each beginning with a dfferent tail light. So I flipped a coun and used the enclosed instructions. When I completed the install my trailer's turn signals were backwards. This requierd uninstall and 180 degree switch and reinstall.
As no wire cutting or splicing involved it was an easy fix. Pay attention to wire colors indicated.
