Does not fit tight inside the hitch cavity as claimed(2 5/16 ball). Would be very nice if it only fit.

Curt Manufacturing 55400 T-Connector Review

Be aware that this is no ten minute install. Sure, installing the t-connector to the rear tail lights is easy, but running the required black wire to your battery will not be. I couldn't get under the vehicle to secure the wire and running it inside was complicated. I'll be taking it to the shop lift to finish the install. Hassle and not cheap.

Bought this for my 2010 Rogue. It looks SO much better than than U-Haul bars and other generic tow bars on other cars. Highly Recommended!

Curt Manufacturing 13113 Class III Receiver Review

Curt Manufacturing 13113 Class III Receiver

The hitch is sturdy and serves it's purpose of hauling my boat. The only down side was the self installation which I won't hold against the hitch or it's makers.
Where it bolted to the frame of my 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor was very akward.
I had to use a variety of socket wrenches of different sizes to fit in the tight spaces. I had almost no leverage so turning the bolts was a pain in the butt.
Took me a little over an hour to install because the spaces were so tight I didn't have a lot of room to actually turn the bolts.
If I'd ever had to do this again I would buy an air wrench to use, that would have saved me a lot of time.

Curt Manufacturing 13554 Class III Receiver Review

This item shipped in no time, the hitch is great and looks like it's built to last, I had some problems fitting it as it seemed to not quite be true so it took a fair bit of wiggling, pushing and bad language to get it on. Had it been perfectly true it would have been on in no time, however with all of the effort to get the holes to line up it took 3 of us around 3 hours, one of the holes still had no hope of lining up but we decided that there were already enough bolts on that side of the hitch to leave it off. One of the guys helping me had fitted a few in his time and said it's not uncommon to have problems like this. Now it's on it looks cool and is rock solid, I'll post a long term review when I've used it for a while.

Reese Towpower 21792 Class III Interlock Ball Mount Review

Product is GREAT BUT...the product description incorrectly says: 'Shank length of 10-1/2 inch allows for more turning clearance from bumper to trailer frame'. I just bought and received this product. This product has a length of 9", not 10 1/2. I need at least 10" on my Nissan Rogue. I just contacted Amazon, and they said they will update the description. Another Reese product with longer shank is this: Reese Towpower 21287 2" Drop Chrome Class III / IV Ball Mount

ToolShopUSA Step Bumper Receiver 5000 Pounds Review

ToolShopUSA Step Bumper Receiver 5000 Pounds
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros:
Price
Quality/Durability
Size
Universal
Cons:
Universal (hard fit on some makes and models such as 1990's dodges)
Linear bolt pattern
drilling your bumperExcellent 2" tube reciver hitch for a step bumper. And yes I had to drill but no big deal just whipped out my 3/4" drill bit and went to work on my bumper. Something note worthy though the pre-stamped holes on the hitch itself are to fit a 3/4" bolt but due to the anti rust paint and the fact the holes are stamped and not drilled they fit an 11/16" bolt which companies stopped making in the 50's except by special order. This means you will need to slightly ream out the stamped holes on the hitch with your 3/4" bit. After that you will need 4 3/4" shank bolts, 4 washers, 4 locking washers, and 4 nuts. Its pretty simple folks if you don't grasp the concept you have no business pulling a trailer.
Also note the picture is upside down. And as a drilling reference the hitch plate is made of 1/4" industrial steel and is welded all around the receiver tube to support the 500 lb tongue weight and 5000lbs trailer weight. Hope this helps.
Oh yeah almost forgot, I drive a 1969 F-250 and in that day and age bumpers were a dealer option so....basically this hitch is universal. The measurements given under product description were spot on so don't be an idiot and measure your step and bumper first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
