(More customer reviews)This product is advertised as being specific to the Ford Transit-Connect, with a 45 minute self installation. It may be specific to the Transit-Connect, but you are not going to install this product per the manufacturers instructions in 45 minutes. Nor are you going to install it per their install scheme. I spent an hour and fifteen minutes before I realised Ford's wiring does not match Curt's installation instructions. Ford does not offer a towing package with this vehicle, nor do they recommend towing with it. I took this kit to my local Ford dealer and asked them to install it for me. They had never wired a Transit-Connect for a trailer before. It took them over 3 hours and still had to make modifications to make this product work. The service writer at Ford asked the tech about this being a "do it yourself project". No was the Ford techs answer. By the way, this Ford Dealer is a designated Ford Commercial Truck Center.

Curt Manufacturing 28998 Lynch Pin Style Removable Foot Review

If the size of the inner or outer diameter of the foot was listed anywhere in the item description, I would have checked the size first (especially since 2 others already noted this problem). I took a chance thinking it was a standard size. After you buy it, you are stuck since after paying for shipping both ways and a restocking fee, you lose all your money anyway. Customer service never answered my inquiry. I'd stay away from this product and seller.

Curt Manufacturing 13336 Class III Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)There was no drilling into the frame needed for install. The only cutting needed to do was for the air suspension. The plate for the air suspension needed to be trimmed a little, but took little effort. came with all of the bolts needed for install and even a bolt guide to help hold a couple of the bolts in place. I could have installed this by myself, but it made it even easier to install with one other person due to the weight.

Trailer Lock Security by SnatchLatch Review

(More customer reviews)This product is great! I've got it on the trailer that I tow behind my motorhome. The trailer has all of my off-road toys and gear, and I often leave for the day once I'm camped. I suppose if someone was determined enough, they could always get in the trailer, but the snatchlatch sure is a better deterrent than just a padlock. It took me a couple of tries before I was able to get it on and off easily, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy and quick.

Valley 82280 Class III Trailer Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)Baught a Valley Class III trailer hitch 3 years ago, and within 3 weeks it started rusting. Within 2 years it was a ball of rust. Looks real bad, and I have to file off the rust and grease it real good or the ball hitch won't fit into the trailer hitch hole. Very sorry I got this brand.

Valley Tow 82151 Class IV Receiver Hitch Review

The hitch is great and came with all the instructions and hardware needed. Installation was a breeze (other than supporting the weight of this thing on my chest!) and I had the whole thing done in 30 minutes or so.
