Reese Towpower 44553 2 inch Class III / IV Professional Hitch Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)Fantastic bike rack for the price. Every time I see a Yakima or Thule hitch mounted bike rack I think to myself, "Man those people overpaid for their rack!"
We have a Trek 4500, Trek 8000 and two Wal Mart bikes and all of them fit nicely on this rack. While they are spaced pretty close (you have to play with the bikes a bit to get them on), this is pretty typical for a 5 bike rack. The straps are nice and quick to use and we only use additional bungies on long trips. The rack is very solid and hardly moves when driving.
The only issue is the very tight pin which usually needs a hammer to remove if you want to lower the top arm down so I recommend carrying one in your vehicle. But for half the price of a similar 'name brand' rack, I'll carry the hammer around!

A friend also tried it on his coupler with the same results.
Locks are well built! Just be sure that your coupler falls into that category
of "fits most couplers" in the product desciption.

Took me about 1.5 hours to install...would have been much easier if I had some ramps or a jack as getting under a Civic is not the easiest of tasks. Purchased it to install a hitch mounted bike rack and it serves this purpose perfectly.

Draw-Tite 36336 Class II Frame Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)Excellent deal, and they couldn't have made installation any easier. Actual install took maybe 45 minutes. Genius idea they have with the 'threaded' wire to pull the bolt through the frame. The install will require a 1/2" drill bit, and a 1" holesaw (or plasma cutter, etc). Pull one heat shield bolt, clean up weld nuts in 4 existing holes with wire brush or 10mm tap, (or just remove the tie downs if you have them), install 5 bolts, drill the two holes, pull bolt through 1" hole with included wire, and... you're done!
Ships without packaging, if there are still deals on ones with aesthetic scuffs, buy it, because guarantee the one you get will have them anyway by the time you receive it, I could've saved $8!

Swagman 3 Bike Standard 2 Inch Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)I have yet to take this bike rack on a road trip, but I have tested it out with bicycles on it, and it seemed very sturdy. The first thing you notice when you get the package is how heavy it is. Nothing flimsy on this thing! I was a little worried it might be too heavy for my car, but the trailer hitch seemed to have no problem with it. Might make a difference on gas mileage, but I'll be confident that my bicycles are secure. As I had read in other reviews, it is a little tight to fit 3 bikes on it. I have 2 bikes to transport, but decided to get the 3-bike rack, and am glad I did. Not sure my 2 bikes would have fit, however, one of them is an old, heavy bike, so some of the newer and more streamlined bikes might fit 3 just fine.
