(More customer reviews)We purchased the Ultra Fab Odyssey Power Tongue Jack for our trailer because it was waterproof and there was no shipping charge. The head on the jack was simply too big for the jack to fit on our trailer so we returned it, hadn't even hooked it up to power. Read the return policy carefully because they will charge you shipping both ways (even though the initial shipping was free), a restock fee, and you have to pay to ship it back yourself. Now, for an item that was $149.99 and I do not even own anymore, I am out $60 (more than a third of the value). From now on, for purchases like this I will only buy locally so I get my full refund back.

Ultra-Fab 38-944017 Model 3002 Electric Tongue Jack Review

(More customer reviews)Have you ever wondered why there are so many remanufactured Ultra-Fab 38-944017 Model 3002 Electric Tongue Jacks. I found out the hard way by buying a new one. I bench tested it before installing on my camper. It bound up on the down stroke. After rocking the switch several times it cleared. The next problem was the light switch. It fell apart in my hand. Ultra Fab sent me a new one that had to be cemented in place because the reveal would not fit the case. The gear box was a mess. I had to shrink-wrap the soldered wires and reseal them in place. After install the unit was making unusual sounds. I removed the jack screw to find several pieces of metal in the very crudely cut threads. Fiber-Fab sent me a new lower assembly and finally the jack is functioning properly.
A buyer should not have to repair a new product. Spend a few more dollars and buy a quality jack.
The representative at Ultra-Fab told me over the phone that they were not happy with the first load of jacks from China. Why sell them to unsuspecting customers.

Heavy Duty Adjustable Swing-Up Swivel Wheel Trailer Tongue Jack Review

(More customer reviews)Not worth ordering unless you do not really intend to use except on something very lightweight and only on rare occassions. Grease leaks out badly at upper end so it gets on your hands. Operates very roughly as if gears are not properly engaged. I removed it from it's intended application almost immidiately and replaced it with a Fulton which works great. Started to return but figured it was not worth the hassle so put it on extremely lightweigt dirt bike trailer I may use once a year. I would reccomend you do not buy.

BAL 28100 Tongue Twister Review

(More customer reviews)I have an Airstream trailer and use a Hensley Arrow hitch. Alignment of vehicle and hitch are critical when hitching up with this type hitch. Before I got the Tongue Twister, I'd spend many minutes trying to get aligned correctly, and my wife's pretty ears would sometimes burn due to the comments I'd make. With the Tongue Twister, it's now a simple matter - if I'm aligned withing 3-4" horizontally, that's all it takes -- I can leave the tow vehicle where it is, shift the trailer tongue left or right, as needed, and then back the rest of the way in, perfectly aligned.
I will never be without this device and heartily recommend it, regardless of the type hitch you're using.

3,500lb. Heavy Duty Electric Trailer Jack Review

(More customer reviews)This jack is easy to install and works very well. My only problem is that I thought it came with an adjustable foot but in fact it is only a removable foot. An adjustable foot would be much more handy if you use weight distribution bars.

Stromberg Carlson JET-3500 Electric Tongue Jack with LED Night Light Review

(More customer reviews)The instructions were a little sketchy but installation was easy. Hot to battery the post of the jack is the ground, just have to sand or scrape paint off around bolt holes to ensure a good ground then bolt it down. Hav'nt used it much yet but worked 1st try.
Update: Have used this item for about 10 camping trips, 7 months, big trip for the holiday weekend started bad when the jack stopped working, the manual crank is on the top of the unit and very hard to get the 'Emergency Crank' to work. Just about killed myself to get the trailer high enough to set on hitch, of course when we got to the campground, after traveling through a tornado I had to reverse the process in the rain. Now I see that a fellow reviewer/jack owner has tried to get service only to find that the jack won't be covered, not a very happy camper right now. Shopping for new jack. :-(

(More customer reviews)This was a good price on the product. However, I feel the quality of the product was inferior. It broke the first time we used it. If you buy this product, do not retract the jack too far or it will shear off a pin that lets the bottom assembly of the jack just fall out. There is no auto shut-off when it raises too far. The fuse on the motor also didn't burn out to save the jack. We ended up fixing it but I would not recommend this jack.
