Curt Manufacturing 83750 18800 Lb Cap 5/8 In Forged D-Ring W/Bracket Review

(More customer reviews)Bought two of these and welded them on the front bolt-on mount of our New Holland tractor yesterday to have some areas to allow us to chain it down better on a trailer. These things are nice and beefy. The mounts you weld on have a notch cut out so you can really get your weld to penetrate both surfaces and give you a solid weld giving you a result of a strongly attached d-ring now on your application. I liked these so much I'm probably going to get two more and attach them to the rear of the tractor since it doesn't have good points to chain down to. I didn't do it, but just make sure that you put your d-ring in the mount before welding it on :D

They are quite a bit bigger.
These D-Rings are heavy duty and large.
You could use them to strap down a fairly large tractor.
Do the job and will hold up a long time.

(More customer reviews)I bought a number of these to install in my enclosed 6 X 12 trailer for tying-back furniture and boxes during a recent move. The price was excellent compared to a lot of other products available, and the rings are sturdy and suited to my needs. Of course, I had to buy hardware to install them, but why pay extra for included hardware that is probably not going to work in your particular application? These aren't the most heavy duty product, but I think they probably do a good job of meeting their advertised specs, and have worked very well for me so far. I would not have considered using these in a location exposed to weather.
