(More customer reviews)I have this hitch on my 2004 Toyota Tocoma and it is very weak. I pull a medium size pop-up camper that is considerably less weight that the specs say this hitch will handle, and the hitch bent a great deal when I hooked up the camper. It bent to the point that it was no longer safe to use without haveing a welder reinforce the hitch and bolt it to the bumper of the truck. I do not recommend this hitch except for very light towing and definitely not to pull any sort of camper, even if it weights much less than the recommended allowed weight.

Valley 81590 Class III Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)Of all the hitch options for this range of Toyota trucks, I chose the Valley for its ease of installation (the two side brackets install first, then the main hitch bolts to its side brackets, meaning you don't have to balance a huge hitch on your chest while you vainly attempt to slide it into place and get a bolt through), and good looks. The Valley's tube body tucks up very cleanly behind the bumper. I was replacing an existing hitch that was just a low-slung square tube, and in comparison, the Valley is almost invisible, tucked very close to the bumper, leaving plenty of room for the exhaust and the spare tire. Ground clearance is as good as any hitch could be, and better than most.

Curt Manufacturing 13310 Class III Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)I installed the Curt 13310 on my 2000 Dodge Ram full size 1/2 ton pickup. The instructions said I might need to adjust the bumper and that I would have to drill some 1/2" bolt holes. I didn't need to do either. Everything fit perfectly. I installed this hitch by myself in about 20 mins. It couldn't have been easier. I recommend putting thread locker on the bolts before you tighten them. The hitch looks great. The only thing visible from the back of the truck is the receiver part. And best of all, it's made in the good old USA.

Valley 82790 Class III Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)This is the perfect aftermarket hitch for my 2009 Tacoma. I did some research and this one is the only one that uses the bumper knockouts for additional mounting bolts. Very secure hitch and only the reciever can be seen after installation unlike some other models. One note: this does not include a receiver cover. You can get one at any wal-mart or auto parts store for about 5 bucks. The shipping package was fine although there was an earlier review that indicated a problem. Mine arrived unscathed and was well packaged in a box with all mounting hardware well secured to the hitch. You will not be disappointed!

(More customer reviews)I bought the extend a truck for my Toyota Tacoma pickup so that I could carry my canoe without having to put it on my roof. The instructions were fairly clear and there were no problems putting it on. I probably spent an hour total installing it. It works perfectly. Now I can get my canoe to where I want to go by myself if I have to, which is what I was hoping to be able to do. Good product.
