(More customer reviews)First off, to clear the confusion, this does work with the 16" (full size tire) spare. You need to lower the tire to install the hitch and then after it is installed you can raise the tire. Just a slight push forward to clear the hitch and it goes right in to place. The installation is very simple and only requires a few hand tools. Four bolts in existing holes and you are done. Quite honestly it couldn't be easier. One bad thing that happened was that Amazon shipped me this hitch without the bolts. You could tell it was a return because they shipped it to me from their returns department. Someone at Amazon didn't know the bolt pack was missing and shipped it out. I called Valley and they immediately sent out a bolt pack free of charge. So aside from Amazon's screw up this was a good deal overall. The hitch is inexpensive and strong and easy to install.

Reese Towpower 44548 Class III / IV Professional Hitch Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)This Reese hitch is apparently available for less money under several other brand names as well. It is well constructed, although it did get a little bent in shipping and needed some straightening. Installing it on an '03 Lexus GX 470 should have been simple and taken less than an hour, but the instructions are very unclear and the diagrams somewhat incomprehensible. My buddy and I fooled around with it for almost 3 hours before giving up. My advice is to pay the $50 to have a pro do it right the first time.

Draw-Tite 24756 Class I SportFrame Hitch with Drawbar Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this 24756 Draw-Tite hitch with drawbar June 2011 and it did not come with a drawbar. I contacted Amazon.com and they shipped another hitch immediately, it came the next day.(GREAT)
Had to take the 1st hitch to a UPS dropoff location.(Not cool) They shipped the 2nd one with Fedex so I couldn't just give the 1st hitch to the delivery guy to take back?
So I get the replacement, but it did not come with a drawbar either. I contacted Amazon again, had a response within 2 hours, but was told that if they send another one it will probably not come with a drawbar either. So without trying to resolve the issue for me, they just issued a refund and I have to make a 2nd trip to UPS to return the 2nd hitch. Very Annoyed, don't understand why Amazon cannot just ship me a drawbar. They sell them. Just want others to be aware...

Curt Manufacturing 11771 Class I Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)Even though the "make sure it fits" widget on Amazon's page suggests this hitch will fit, it is NOT intended for the sedan and will NOT fit. The center bar that ties back to the chassis is shaped for the Touring and won't reach on the sedan. I returned the hitch with no problems.
On the plus side, the hitch looked great, came with all the hardware and instructions, and would have been an easy install if it was made for my car.

Valley 30607 Wiring T-Connector Review

(More customer reviews)Bought a new hitch for my '01 Suburban 2500. I was going to cut off the factory connector to hard wire a new setup because the factory 7-pin outlet wont fit in a standard mount. By the time I bought a new mount, a 7-pin outlet, and a 7-pin to 4-pin adapter, I was over $25. Luckily I found this setup before I actually cut into the harness. This adapter fits to the factory connection point before the actual 7-pin plug at the hitch. Makes for a clean install and the dual 4-pin/7-pin setup is nice. Haven't had it long, but it appears well made.

Valley 82660 Class III Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)I shopped around online for a trailer hitch for my 2006 Nissan Murano. Unfortunately, the best-looking hitch for the Murano (where the cross-bar is hidden behind the rear bumper) is a Nissan hitch that requires additional support parts for the Murano bumper. This hitch, the extra bumper parts, and installation labor at the dealer would cost around eight hundred. No way am I spending that much. Of all the third-party hitches for the Murano, I decided on the Valley, mainly because the cross-bar is not as thick in diameter as other brands (about 1-3/4 inches vs. about 2-1/4 inches) and does not have such a "massive" look about it when installed under my bumper (the towing specifications are the same for most of the hitches). I have just installed it myself with ordinary home tools in my driveway. It did require some effort, but was not terribly difficult--better than paying someone a hundred bucks or so to install it. I have not yet used it, but hey, it is just a trailer hitch--I expect it to do what it's supposed to do. Bottom line for me was its appearance under the back bumper of my car, and I'm pleased with how it looks. Granted, the Nissan hitch is ideal, but for several hundred dollars in savings, I'm satisfied.

Reese Towpower 51046 Class III Hitch Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)This is a very sturdy class 3 hitch that can pull up to 3000lbs. It is very sturdy and really does a great job pulling a trailer/camper/bike rack. The only downside is that it just barely fits and you need to use some serious muscle and a big hammer to get the thing to fit. So once you get it on its awesome and does a great job.
