(More customer reviews)This carrier is definitly rugged, but it wobbles all over the place. There are no assembly instructions, just an exploded view of the unit showing how it is assembled. If you can get through the assembly on your own, you will notice a few items that are weird. First, the nuts an bolts that assemble the tray to the main frame are button head bolts. You need a pretty big screw driver adn a lot of strength to tighten them. I swapped out the lag bolts for hex bolts. I also had to add stabilization straps going from my tow hitch side bars under my SUV to the very ends of the carrier.
If you don't mind the carrier wobbling, then it is a very good carrier. I just wish this carrier was more stable.
