(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from Amazon a few days ago and had to return it as it is defective for use on my vehicle. I have a Toyota Tundra with a 10,000 lb receiver.
The bolt does not extend through the other side of the receiver sufficiently to be able to engage the lock mechanism. In other words the bolt is too short, not by much but enough to render the product useless. I have noticed a few blogs on the web from others who have had the same problem with receiver hitch locks.
I re-ordered after some investigation the Curt F-21 23021 and got it today.
This works fine so if you have a truck like mine watch what you buy.
