For the winter I use two on my receiver one from the bumper side and a second under the back of the vehicle from the front. The two completely seal the receiver from road grim and salt. I think these are so good I have searched them out and purchased them for all three of my vehicles. Design does not stand out that much and I really don't mind the generic "hitch" symbol anyhow.
