Ball Mount Reducer Sleeve, 2 1/2"-2" Review

(More customer reviews)ordered 2 for 2-2011 F250 Fords. Items came were in "Reese Towpower" boxes, Reese Part Number 7028700, and would expect Reese items to work as I feel Reese should be a good manufacturer. Both were too big for the hole on the trucks. Hole was exactly 2 1/2" on truck, and the reducers were also exactly 2 1/2". WITHOUT BEING A LITTLE UNDERSIZED, which is logical, they will not go in the hole, AND THEY DIDNT.
Went to my Ford dealer & he "gave" me two sleeves that fit perfectly (they had Ford part numbers on them) and he also gave me two new "longer" pins which are also needed to work.
What really dissapointing was that to get credit I would have to pay freight back, and that was as much as they cost. Seems like items that are mismade should just be thrown away by purchaser but having to pay freight coming and going made it a bad deal. And because of this did not get credit so lost it all.

Bully Locks Lock Jaws LKCR-0009 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this lock in November after our second trailer had been stolen (they cut thru the padlocks). At that time our trailer was buried in snow and ice and we couldnt see the wheels much less put this lock on a wheel. We got a melt in early March, I handed it to my husband to put it on the trailer and he came back in and said "where are the keys?" There were no keys to this thing. I would expect the keys would have been taped to the lock but they werent. I contacted the company with several emails to get a set of keys but they NEVER RESPONDED. So all we got is a very expensive door stop. PFFFFFFT. Lousy company who deserves to go belly up in this economy because they dont care about their customer.

Curt Manufacturing 11176 Class I Receiver Review

(More customer reviews)The description says it takes 30 minutes for installation. But, it took my mechanic 4 1/2 hours to do it, and he was very frustrated. The mounting bars did not fit the car well, and my mechanic had to work hard to stretch them. Worse, some bolts that come mounted to the mounting bars were crooked, and, after struggling with them for a long time, my mechanic had to break them off and solder new bolts on. The hitch is on my 2005 Mini convertible now. I haven't used the hitch yet, so I can't comment on how well it works.

Valley 82760 Class III Receiver Hitch Review

(More customer reviews)Nice fit. I was able to install it by myself with a little assistance from a floor jack to hold it up while I threaded the bolts. A little trouble getting the bolts in above the Quest muffler due to limited working space but it was doable. Just take the heat shield off and the holes on the hitch bracket will line right up with the pre-existing threaded holes in the frame. I'm using it for a bike rack so I didn't tackle the electrical wiring. I was nervous about the fit and if the bolt holes would line up properly. Looks real nice. Very happy.

There were nut plates already on the inside of the prelude bumper, but rusty from never having bolts in them.
The instructions should tell the installer to spray PB_Blast in the holes and run a thread chaser in
them. Also they bolt size and thread should be noted. The bolts that come with it won't fit the prelude bumpers
with the nut plates and you'll have to cut into the bumper box on models that don't have nut plates or open channel bumpers, but for small utility trailer or jet ski pulling it will work great!

Reese Towpower 36025 Premium Hitch Receiver Review

Did not need that many but they were over and I need to put it on. I bought it 4 months ago but finaly had to put it on and it was very easy for three guys that don't know how to use tools with one guy that knows a little. The fit is exact. I love it.
