(More customer reviews)This was the best value deal I could find and I am happy with the product. It was straight forward to put together and my Champion winch fit just fine. I did have to drill new holes to mount my roller assembly.
It is solid and heavy. Keep in mind the weight of your winch as well as this metal cradle. I can lift it all assembled, but I'd hate to do so in a precarious position. If you can barely lift your winch, you might consider a permanent mount.

I attached to trailer frame with heavy duty square u-bolts. A low price for the extra margin of safety provided.

I recevied the hitch. with no box. It came all scatched up from delivery. some owes me a new powder coat or linex paint job. Hitch doesn't match picture, but what does.

WARN 68531 Hitch Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 3700# pull, 12 volt Warn electric wench.Using this mounting plate, I can use the wench for many different applications. In the fall, I install the wench with this adapter onto the rear of my van to pull my boat shore station in from the water. In the winter, I have a hitch mount inside my enclosed snowmobile trailer. I keep the wench installed there should we ever need to load a dead sled. I also have a hitch plate mounted on a 6" x 6" post. Putting the winch onto the post is a snap with this adapter. I now can pull my trailers into a tight spot behind the garage with the push of the wench button.
