But......
These locks appear great, but are not very secure.
I purchased these to secure the door latches on my cargo trailer but I am left with two main areas of concern.
The first is the multi-piece shackle design which may make it vulnerable to a prybar. I would think that the shackle would still be a solid piece with armor attached around it.
But that isn't even the most serious aspect. The locking mechanism and tumblers can be picked in seconds by just about anyone. So forget about being worried about bolt cutters or prybars and buy a real nice solid lock.
So do yourself a favor and stay away from this lock.
Regardless to say, I will continue to use my old locks and will not be using these locks to secure anything of value.
